Listings mostly contain business information. Where a listing includes an individual’s name (for example a sole trader), that person can ask us to change or remove it at any time.
Where it comes from. Listing details come from public sources, such as a shop’s own website, social media and public map listings, and from shop owners and visitors who submit them.
Who we share it with. Our website host and service providers (email delivery, spam protection, backups, and analytics if enabled), only so they can provide their service. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it. Listing details for as long as the listing is live. Form submissions and emails for up to 24 months. Claim verification records for as long as the listing is claimed.
Your rights. Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or restrict it. Email [email protected]. If you’re unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes. We’ll update this page if anything changes, with the new date at the top.
